1. 수집하는 정보

ThreadMate는 사용자가 본인 스레드 프로필 페이지에서 직접 연 팔로워/팔로잉 모달의 화면에 표시되는 사용자명(@username) 목록만 읽습니다.

이 정보는 사용자가 명시적으로 "팔로워 명단 가져오기" 또는 "팔로잉 명단 가져오기" 버튼을 클릭했을 때만 수집됩니다.

2. 정보의 저장

모든 데이터는 사용자의 로컬 브라우저 저장소(chrome.storage.local)에만 저장됩니다.
외부 서버, 클라우드, 데이터베이스로 전송되지 않습니다.
개발자(서비스 운영자)는 사용자의 어떤 데이터에도 접근할 수 없습니다.
익스텐션을 삭제하거나 브라우저 데이터를 초기화하면 저장된 모든 정보가 즉시 삭제됩니다.

3. 정보의 사용 목적

수집된 사용자명 목록은 오직 다음 목적으로만 사용됩니다:

4. 비밀번호와 인증 정보

ThreadMate는 사용자의 스레드 또는 인스타그램 비밀번호, 액세스 토큰, 인증 정보를 어떤 형태로도 수집하거나 저장하지 않습니다. 익스텐션은 사용자가 이미 브라우저에서 로그인한 세션을 활용해 사용자 본인이 보는 페이지의 정보만 읽습니다.

5. 제3자 공유

ThreadMate는 데이터를 외부로 전송하지 않으므로 제3자와 공유될 가능성 자체가 없습니다. 광고 트래커, 애널리틱스 도구, 외부 SDK가 일절 포함되어 있지 않습니다.

6. 메타(Meta) 및 스레드와의 관계

ThreadMate는 메타 또는 스레드의 공식 제품이 아니며, 어떠한 제휴 관계도 없습니다. 메타의 공식 API를 사용하지 않으며, 사용자가 자신의 브라우저에서 스레드 페이지를 조작하는 동작을 자동화하는 도구입니다.

7. 사용자의 권리

저장된 모든 데이터는 익스텐션의 "초기화" 버튼으로 즉시 삭제할 수 있습니다.
익스텐션을 삭제하면 모든 데이터가 자동으로 영구 삭제됩니다.

TL;DR — ThreadMate does not collect or transmit any user data to external servers.

All information is stored locally in your browser (chrome.storage.local) and is removed when you uninstall the extension.

1. What We Collect

ThreadMate only reads the usernames (@handles) visible in the followers/following modal on your own Threads profile page, and only when you explicitly click "Fetch followers" or "Fetch following".

2. How Data Is Stored

All data is stored exclusively in your browser's local storage (chrome.storage.local).
No data is ever transmitted to any external server, cloud, or database.
The developer has no access to any user data.
Uninstalling the extension or clearing browser data permanently deletes all stored information.

3. Purpose of Use

The collected username lists are used solely for:

Comparing follow relationships (Followers who left / Not following back)
Detecting unfollows by comparing with previous snapshots

4. Passwords and Credentials

ThreadMate does not collect or store any passwords, access tokens, or credentials for Threads, Instagram, or any other service. The extension operates within your existing logged-in browser session and only reads what is already visible to you on the page.

5. Third-Party Sharing

Since no data leaves your device, there is no possibility of third-party sharing. ThreadMate contains no ad trackers, analytics tools, or external SDKs.

6. Relationship with Meta / Threads

ThreadMate is not an official product of Meta or Threads and has no affiliation with either company. It does not use the official Meta API; it automates interactions with the Threads page within your own browser.

7. Your Rights

You can delete all stored data instantly via the "Reset" button in the extension.
Uninstalling the extension permanently removes all associated data.
